Maritime Medical Courses
This classification is used to train Deckhands, Oilers, Greasers and certain Fishermen.
The Elementary First Aid at Sea Course has been designed to ensure that seamen can meet basic requirements for rendering assistance to his fellow crew members in the event of an accident at sea. The emphasis being on the basic CPR skills, and the practical aspects of First Aid training.
All ratings, deck, engine room and catering as well as fishermen.
16 Hours duration including the practical evaluation and a written examination.
The certificate is valid for 5 years
