Healthcare Provider Courses
The ACLS Refresher course is a 1-day, hands-on classroom session which is aimed at refreshing participants in their knowledge and skills related to the ACLS Course.
This course is for confident delegates with a valid ACLS Certificate that is about to expire and who need to update their ACLS provider status. We recommend that they’ve attended the ACLS course more than twice.
- Participants must have a current ACLS course manual.
- Participants must have a current AHA ACLS card.
- Participants need to study the course manual and complete the online preparation prior to attending the 1 -day classroom session.
Participants are required to complete a multiple-choice examination at the start of the course, achieving a minimum mark of 84%. Furthermore, they must pass a practical assessment later in the day.
The ACLS R course is a 1-day interactive contact session with practical components. An online pre-test must be completed before the classroom component commences.
All participants who successfully complete the course will receive:
• An AHA ACLS for HCP card.
• Accredited by the HPCSA, each participant will receive 28 CPD and 2 ethics points.
